Casey is committed to helping clients attain and maintain long term sobriety. With 14 years of sobriety herself, she is passionate about sharing her gift with those who still suffer. Modalities used in treatment include cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. Casey believes that breaking generational patterns of addiction within families, is the key to healing and hope. Prior to working in a private practice setting, Casey was a lead therapist for a substance abuse treatment center. Casey led groups both in person and online, conducted individual sessions as well as family sessions at the intensive outpatient level of care. Casey is experienced in treating anxiety, depression, eating disorders, childhood trauma and adjustment disorders. Casey enjoyed her time counseling undergraduate students at Trevecca Nazarene University which is also where she received her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health. As a college athlete who struggled to maintain balance, Casey has a heart for athletes and the unique challenges they face. Casey’s approach is direct and results oriented, warm and compassionate, and often infused with a quirky dash of humor. Casey loves traveling, hiking, spoiling her dog and spending time with her three adult children.
